And whether you believe all that is published out there or not, what stands out to us, is the one thing we believe to be true...REASON #6..."You'll be happier," when you visit your local pub, because gathering with friends and family is amazing for our mental health...just ask anyone that's been through a pandemic!
And as we dig our way out of a 2 year isolation from each other and the fear of being together, we know you don't need an excuse to be together...but we're going to give you a few anyway so you know where you can go when you're ready to rebuild your community too!
If you have stopped in over the past couple of weeks, you may have seen something pretty bizarre in front of our brewery...a CURLING RINK...well, the start of one anyway!
And as we flood it, paint it and even add logos (from many local businesses we love) to it, we can already imagine each of you out there, with the cascade of patio lights around you, making some long awaited memories.
Yup there will be beer, butterbeer, hot chocolate (kicking off with the annual Hot Chocolate Festival) and all the beer cocktails and alcohol-free bevvies we have in house, but you'll also have a place to have some winter fun and try out a 100+ year old Canadian sport, in the comfort of your local pub! No judgement over here...just do your best to keep the rocks on the ice!

Next up..."Beer with a side of DARTS!"
You've probably seen a few posts about us planning for, and buying all the supplies we need to start a dart league! And with so many of you expressing interest, we cannot wait to kick it off!! But we will...wait that is...until the government gives us the green light to get back to playing games like this together. It's true...these types of games are still prohibited...but if our sources are correct (and we hope to know more when we meet with Jason Kenny on Tuesday), the end of this restriction could be literally right around the corner!
In the meantime, here's a couple of important things to know if you plan to join us for this FUN darts league:
League kick off: February 16th and will go for 10 weeks ;
League play will be on Wednesdays from 7pm-9pm with seating opening at 6pm for you eager beavers to "warm up";
Teams will be comprised of 4 people - if you need to be added to a team, let us know and we will do our best to make it happen;
Team Fee = $80 ($20/person) - to be used to buy end of the season prizes;
You will need to bring your own darts for play.
Come in from 2-6pm on Sundays, Feb. 6th and 13th to practice with your team prior to league kick off (no reservations required).

Now...on to "Cribbage and Cold Ones!"
It's exactly what you think it is...a night out to enjoy beers while you play cribbage against your neighbours! And besides improving your patience and concentration, boosting your memory skills and reducing stress, joining us once a week to play this beloved game, is going to gently bring you back into the social world after a pretty long hiatus!

League play will be on THURSDAYS, from 7pm-9pm with seating opening at 6:00pm for you eager beavers to get that first pint in and find your opponents;
Teams will be comprised of 2 people - if you need to be added to a team, let us know and we will do our best to make it happen;
Team Fee = $40 ($20/person) - to be used to buy end of the season prizes;
Come in ANYTIME to practice with your partner, on one of our many crib boards prior to league kick off (no reservations required).
